Group currently has a portfolio of 21 hotels and is rapidly increasing its national footprint.
We are looking for a Regional Hotel Maintenance operative to be a part of our central team, someone who is responsible for
carrying out general maintenance works at our sites in St Helens and Runcorn
. The ideal candidate will be centrally based and have their own transport to be able to
travel to our hotels in St Helens and Runcorn.
The candidate at times will be required to visit other sites within the portfolio.
Our preferred candidate will have prior experience in a similar role. The candidate should be capable of reviewing situations and proposing a solution, to be able to work efficiently and able to prioritize their own workload.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General repair and maintenance work throughout the properties
Ensure all maintenance activities and failures are responded to efficiently and effectively
Carry out any reasonable emergency tasks, which are requested by hotel management.
To undertake any other type of maintenance work in connection with functioning of the hotel premises as required.
Liaise with external contractors regarding small reactive projects;
Ensuring plant room is kept in good order and free from defects
Be involved in Pro-Active Periodic Maintenance (PPM) across the property
The above list is not exhaustive, and this job description may reasonably be adjusted by the Line Manager/Supervisor within the scope of the work.
KEY SKILLS
1) Knowledge in general maintenance & repairs including plumbing/electrical repairs, decorating, carpentry and joinery.
2) Specialist knowledge or certification in any of the above trades would be preferred.
3) Knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations;
4) A team player and the ability to work on your own initiative;
5) A flexible approach to working and committed to delivering high levels of service;
6) A positive and helpful attitude to work and colleagues;
7) A willingness to learn and adapt
8) Experience in use of common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, sanders and wrenches
