CMS Stock Controller
Leicester | Part-Time | Wednesday to Friday | 22.5 Hours

Our client, a market-leading provider of Managed Equipment Services (MES) to the NHS and private healthcare sector across the UK, is seeking a Consumables Stock Controller to join their team based in Leicester.
With a strong track record spanning over two decades, they are partners with major healthcare providers across key clinical areas including radiology, radiotherapy, cardiology, endoscopy, and biomedical services. Their comprehensive service has positioned them as the UK and Ireland's leading MES provider.
Strict Candidate Requirements

  • Previous stock control/stock room/warehouse experience
  • At least 3 years of stock control/stockroom/warehouse experience within the UK
Responsibilities
  • Day to day management of consumables on site (various within Midland's area)
  • Source non-stock products as required by the location
  • Add or amend Supplier Account detail
  • Add or amend product details on computer system
  • Set up inventory parameters to enable requisitions or direct ordering
  • Manage automatic and manual orders including non-stock
  • Manage requisitions including non-stock, raise and enter Purchase orders
  • Stock transfers e.g. ad hoc issues on a sale or return basis
  • Expedite orders with suppliers
  • Manage migration process i.e. when Trust stock is depleting/depleted and The Company needs to order prior to stock out
  • Accept delivery, decant and manage reversals including management of over/under deliveries and damages
  • Ensure all stock is appropriately located ready for use by clinical staff
  • Manage receipt of products for trials, loan equipment etc after Consumables Group approval
  • Manage quarantine of product/product recalls/shelf life expiry/loss management and physical returns
  • Undertake cyclical and annual stock takes/reconciliation
  • Management of price queries with suppliers, Trust procurement and finance, and Accounts payable
  • Removal of rubbish and housekeeping throughout the facility
  • Encourage and actively promote Personal Development and training
  • Provide on-site support for all regional offices to cover absence
  • Assist with new client implementation activities as required
  • Any other duties as agreed with Head of Consumables
  • Ensure stock levels are optimised based on usage
  • Ensure all Stock Rooms are efficiently run
  • Ensure products are stored safely and with good housekeeping
Key Accountabilities
  • Ensuring provision of excellent support to the Trust
  • Driving business improvement, including adoption and use of electronic order processing
Performance Indicators
  • First pick availability of stock
  • Product receipted within 2 working days
  • Orders placed within the lead time to ensure stock levels are maintained at each Trust location
  • Supplier disputes to be resolved within 3 months
