The primary function of the CNC Co-ordinator is to maximise efficiency of the department through a work-to-list analysis, timely provision of paperwork & resources, and accurately documented relocation of products.
Main responsibilities include:
Follow all health & safety guidelines for themselves and others.
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working area at, all times, through regular routines and adhering to housekeeping policies & procedures.
Ensure a high handover standard through effective communication with the opposite Shift Co-ordinator & Lead Operator.
Operate bandsaw to prepare parts for production and to cut up waste, ensuring the highest standards of safety are adhered to. Segregate waste by type for recycling.
Plan change overs ahead of time according to the work-to-list & planning instructions.
Prepare & issue paperwork (Works Orders, Kitting Lists, Specification Sheets & Product Labels) & all resources according to paperwork to CNC Operators in a timely manner.
Effectively communicate with opposite Shift Co-ordinator, Lead Operator and other department Team Leaders to improve workflow.
Control product stock levels, movements & paperwork through accurate data input & relocation of parts.
Ensure all completed paperwork is correct in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
Report accurate daily production figures via handover email.
Carry out & maintain routine forklift checks. Report issues to Maintenance Department or Shift Manager.
Report any problems or issues to either Lead Operator or Shift Manager
FLT Licence required (Reach)
Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given
Shift pattern - Friday- Saturday -Sunday - 36hrs per week 6am to 6pm
A period of training Monday to Thursday will be required.
