Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated individual to lead our fundraising, events and wellbeing within the Care Home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of events within the home to interest & stimulate the physical and mental state and well-being of residents, tenants and clients.

Responsibilities



Promote privacy, dignity, independence & choice, rights & fulfillment for all residents, tenants & clients. Position is extremely broad ranging and hands on. Ability to prioritize various projects along with having flexibility with time management - including some weekends and evenings as required. Ability to motivate & guide staff in home, keeping staff up to date with the events programmes, including birthdays, individual special events and recognising local & national celebrations throughout the year. Participate & support the intellectual & social wellbeing of residents, tenants & clients to provide a happy & stimulating experience wherever possible. Undertake holistic assessments and goal plan with individual residents & clients, identifying support needs & ensuring maximum engagement providing outcomes to meet residents & clients needs, improving health and wellbeing to reduce loneliness & isolation. Liaise with all relevant staff throughout the home advising of events & entertainment. Organise & plan all homes special events & parties. Organise & book all outside activities & entertainment for the home. Initiate, facilitate & create fundraising events to achieve required budget. Oversee on-site event management to ensure everything runs according to plan. Maintain organized documentation related to event planning processes.

Requirements



Proven experience in event planning or coordination is preferred.. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, clients and team members. Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Familiarity with budgeting processes Experience in a care home or working with elderly people is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules. A passion for creating memorable experiences for our residents, tenants & clients.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 20,127.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week
