About Us

We are a small, fast-paced manufacturing business seeking a skilled and reliable Laser Cutting and Press Brake Operator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality parts production and supporting daily shop operations.

Position Overview

The Laser Cutting and Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting machines and press brake equipment to produce precision metal components. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a small-team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate our laser cutting machine to process sheet metal and other materials. Program or adjust machine parameters based on job requirements. Set up and operate press brakes to form and bend metal parts to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications

Experience operating laser cutting machines and/or press brakes (1-3 years preferred). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with metal fabrication processes is a plus. CNC programming experience (optional but preferred).

Full-time position Competitive pay based on experience. Opportunities for training and skill development.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.50-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 42 per week

Leominster: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
