Job Description
For over 25 years Transcover have specialised in automatic tarping systems for covering commercial vehicles. We work closely with our customers & understand their truck bodies, loading operations & the materials that they haul. All Transcover sheeting systems are designed & manufactured by our factory in England & are exported to over 20 countries throughout the world.
Full time position: CNC Machine Operator
Hourly salary: negotiable based on experience
Location: Aylesford Kent
We are hiring an experienced CNC Machine Operators to work at our leading UK sheeting system factory.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced CNC Machine Operator looking to join a busy and successful team.
Considering our location and the early morning shift times, applicants must be able to make suitable travel arrangements. Free parking and bike racks are available onsite.
Experience:
At least 2 years CNC Machine Operator experience required. Ideally, applicants will have experience in:
CNC machining including lathes and milling machines Fanuc and Heidenhain controls Working from technical drawings Experience in manual machining and hand tools would be advantageous but full training will be given
Responsibilities:
Working within a small but busy team of fabricators Ensuring operational excellence Effective housekeeping to eliminate workplace hazards Manual handling Adhering to all Health & Safety standards
