CNC Machine Operator

23,000 - 25,500 per annum

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing successful timber frame manufacturing and construction business based in the New forest.

Reporting to the production manager your duties will include:

Machining of various timber components

Use of various machinery and equipment as requested including telehandler. Training, where necessary, will be provided to the right applicant.

Translate drawn requirements into manufactured components efficiently

Work to written manufacturing instructions

Administrate as requested in support of quality, production and cost controls

Cleaning of machinery as and when required

Maintenance of cutting tools as required

Maintain at all times an appropriate level of good housekeeping and cleanliness.

You will be a team player with good IT skills and a real willingness to learn about our products and services. You will have a flexible approach and be capable of working on your own initiative to help and support all other team members across the business.

The role is a full time job:

07.30am - 4pm - Monday to Friday

Skills required:

- Good communication Skills

- Previous CNC/timber manufacturing experience preferred, training will be given to the
right candidate

- Fork Lift/Telehandler Experience an advantage, training will be given to the right candidate

- Energy, enthusiasm, and a tenacious approach to completing every task

- Solid organisational and administration skills

- A commitment to quality control

- The ability to multitask and carry out core routine duties

- A good command of Microsoft office applications

- Your own reliable transport - we are in a rural location
