We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machinery, including milling and other fabrication equipment
Programme CNC machines using CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks and other relevant tools
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production according to specifications
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of CNC equipment
Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and movement within the workspace
Utilise hand tools and tooling to assist with machine setup and minor adjustments
Conduct quality checks on finished parts to verify dimensions and tolerances
Maintain a clean, organised work area adhering to health and safety standards
Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks when required, including welding or other fabrication processes
Requirements
Proven experience in fabrication, milling, or machining environments
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CNC programming software such as SolidWorks or CAD systems
Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of tooling, materials handling, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Familiarity with welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools is advantageous
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is desirable
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
