Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and machining processes, with experience operating CNC machinery. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The CNC Operator will be responsible for producing precision parts and components according to specifications.

We are currently programming on BSolid and using a Biesse Rover J flatbed machine. This is a varied role and requires a level of self-management to help prioritise workload

Duties

Operate CNC machine to produce high-quality kitchen product. Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to set up and programme machine accurately. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Utilise SolidWorks and other CAD software for design modifications and tooling setups. Perform quality checks using measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications. Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process. Collaborate with team members in assembly tasks and assist with welding operations as needed. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

E

xperience

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficient in using hand tools and materials handling techniques. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Previous woodworking experience is preferred but not essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
