We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality components. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with mechanical knowledge to develop their skills.
There is the possibility of night shift, with 1/3 shift allowance paid.
Duties
Programme, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precise parts.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing processes.
Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
Handle materials safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
Use hand tools and tooling to assist in machine setup and minor repairs.
Conduct quality inspections of machined parts, ensuring compliance with specifications.
Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and machine logs.
Collaborate with team members.
Requirements
Proven experience in CNC machining or manufacturing environments, with knowledge of machining processes.
Experience with hand tools, assembly, and warehouse operations is desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow technical drawings accurately.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or manufacturing are advantageous.
