Job Summary
We are seeking a Semi-skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce components according to specifications. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Duties
Setup and operate Siemens control CNC machines, including manual milling and lathes, to manufacture parts as per engineering drawings. Set up and adjust machine tools, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures are in place for production runs. Read and interpret technical drawings. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments to ensure parts meet required tolerances. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in materials handling and assembly processes as required.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding material handling procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
