About Us:

We are a leading manufacturing company based in Scunthorpe, specialising in sheet metal manufacturing of access solutions. We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our production team, operating our Salvagnini punch and folding machines to produce high-quality components to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor Salvagnini punch and folding machines to produce components according to technical drawings and work instructions. Load and unload materials, ensuring correct placement and alignment. Carry out machine adjustments, tool changes, and minor maintenance as required. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, using appropriate measuring tools. Maintain accurate production records and ensure adherence to job schedules. Follow health and safety procedures at all times. Work collaboratively with the production team to meet output and quality targets. Identify and report machine or production issues promptly to supervisors.

Requirements:

Previous experience operating CNC/Salvagnini machinery in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform machine adjustments. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop environment.

Desirable:

Experience with Salvagnini S4 punching and/or P4 panel bending systems. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
