Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile CNC Machinist to join our growing production team. You'll be responsible for machining high-quality components in aluminium and steel that form the structural and architectural backbone of our modular systems.

The ideal candidate will be dynamic, adaptable, and eager to contribute across a range of workshop tasks beyond machining -- including cutting, drilling, assembly, and general fabrication work.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to produce precision profiles in aluminium and steel. Set up, program, and maintain CNC equipment to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and machining instructions. Inspect finished components to ensure compliance with tight tolerances and quality standards. Assist with other manufacturing processes including manual cutting, drilling, tapping, and assembly of modular components. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace. Work collaboratively with the design and production teams to continuously improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

Proficient in fabrication techniques and processes. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous. Strong knowledge of CAD software for design interpretation. Familiarity with mechanical systems and hand tools used in machining operations. Competent in materials handling practices within a warehouse setting. Understanding of tooling requirements for various machining tasks. Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurement and calculations. Previous experience in assembly and welding is beneficial. Pay: 13.50-15.00 per hour
