About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable

CNC Machinist (Setter/Operator)

to join our expanding team. This role involves setting and operating CNC milling or turning machines, primarily using

Fanuc control systems

. Experience in the aerospace sector or with 5-axis machining would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Mills or Lathes using Fanuc controls Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately Manufacture components to precise tolerances and quality standards Perform in-process checks and basic inspections to ensure compliance Troubleshoot minor machine issues to minimise downtime Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (Milling or Turning) Confident using Fanuc CNC control systems Strong understanding of machining techniques, tolerances, and materials Ability to read and work from detailed technical drawings High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Desirable Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in aerospace or high-precision engineering environments Familiarity with 5-axis CNC machining Basic programming or editing skills on Fanuc systems
