Job Opening: CMM Programmer (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
Location: Northampton

We are looking for a skilled CMM Programmer to join our Northampton team. The suitable candidate will have prior experience with Fanuc CNC Mills and/or Lathes. The position involves setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes in addition to performing quality inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-time, permanent employment offering 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, during daytime hours. Create and program Coordinate Measuring Machines for various parts and components. Set up and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC Lathes and Mills (training will be provided). Carry out quality inspections and testing to verify that parts and assemblies conform to specifications. Use precise measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs, and other instruments. Conduct manual quality checks (training available).

Qualifications:

Strong mechanical skills and understanding of CNC machining processes. Experience with programming and fabrication involving programmable logic controllers. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks for design and modeling. Skilled in milling operations and tooling techniques. Familiarity with hand tools, material handling, and basic mathematics. Background in assembly, welding, or warehouse operations is advantageous.
