We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating CNC milling machines. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various materials. As a CNC Mill Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that components are manufactured to precise specifications.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Set up tooling and fixtures for machining operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to maintain quality standards.
Assemble components as required, following established procedures and guidelines.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Utilise CAD software for interpreting designs and making necessary adjustments during the machining process.
Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a CNC Mill Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in using hand tools and tooling equipment relevant to CNC machining.
Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks is preferred.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
Experience with logic controllers is an advantage.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
