We're expanding our team in Hoddesdon and looking for a

CNC Operator / Inspector (Hybrid)

who's motivated by craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous growth.

If you've got precision engineering experience and the right attitude, we'll provide full training on both CNC operations and inspection using our

Jenoptik Opticline CS405 laser measuring machine

.

The Role

You'll work across both CNC operation and inspection, ensuring every component meets the highest quality standards.
This role combines hands-on machining with precision measurement -- perfect for someone who wants to develop their skills, take ownership, and make a real impact.

What You'll Do

Set and operate

Fixed Head

and

Sliding Head CNC lathes

to manufacture precision components. Perform setups, tool changes, offsets, and in-process checks. Carry out

in-process and final inspections

using hand measuring equipment and the

Jenoptik Opticline CS405 laser measuring system

(training provided). Record measurement data accurately and maintain production documentation. Work collaboratively with engineers and teammates to maintain quality and efficiency. Contribute to continuous-improvement projects and process optimisation.

About You

Previous

precision engineering

or CNC experience is essential. Strong

attention to detail

and pride in quality work. Willingness to

learn

and develop across CNC and inspection disciplines. A
