We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to fabricate precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software, tooling, and mechanical principles, as well as the ability to assemble and handle wood materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Duties
Develop and optimise CNC programmes for milling machines using CAD software.
Fabricate components according to technical drawings and specifications.
Assemble parts and ensure they meet quality standards.
Operate CNC machinery, including setting up tools and fixtures.
Conduct regular maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment.
Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality control.
Maintain accurate records of production processes and outcomes.
Requirements
Proven experience in CNC programming, preferably with milling machines.
Proficiency in CAD software for designing and modifying programmes.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand tooling requirements.
Familiarity with logic controllers used in CNC machinery is advantageous.
Experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and logical thinking skills.
Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
