We manufacture Fitness Equipment Upholstery products/pads.
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in wood CNC operational knowledge, with experience in programming CNC machinery to produce parts. This role requires proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to work with wood and foam materials and tooling. The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our manufacturing processes.
Duties
Develop and optimise CNC programmes for operations using CAD software.
Set up and operate CNC machinery, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
Utilise hand tools and programmable logic controllers as necessary during the production process.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Assist in materials handling and assembly tasks as required, ensuring efficient workflow within the warehouse environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CAD software, for designing parts and assemblies.
Familiarity with materials handling practices and tooling requirements for various machining processes.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
