Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of programming, and operating CNC machinery. This role involves creating precise programs for CNC machines and ensuring high-quality production standards. The successful applicant will demonstrate mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare & operate CNC machines ,principally turning centres.

Understand specifications of task at hand & desired result by reading engineering drawings

Translate instructions into computer commands so the CNC machine can perform

correct function .

Prepare & load raw materials onto the machines

Prepare test run to check if machines produce outputs according to specifications

Set machine to complete full cycles to produce specific part

Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary

adjustments to produce a better result .

Inspect & measure finished products to check process completed properly

Check and maintain machine regularly to ensure functionality

Adhere to safe working practices

Requirements

. Proven experience as a CNC operator .

. Skill in operating CNC tooling & precision measuring tools

. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

. Good understanding of computer programming CAD/CAM

. Ability to regularly work efficiently and accurately

. Flexible attitude with good team worker skills

. Able to work independently and use own initiative .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
