Overview


We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator/Programmer/Setter to join our growing manufacturing team in Glasgow. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with precision machinery, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to be part of a busy, well-established production environment.

This is a hands-on role involving programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances across a varied range of projects.

Whats the role?



Working within our manufacturing workshop, you will be responsible for:

Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines Producing accurate components from technical drawings and specifications Editing and proving programs at the machine where required Using precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers to ensure quality standards are met Maintaining tooling, fixtures, and a clean, organised work area Carrying out basic fault finding and troubleshooting on CNC machines Working closely with the wider production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow Following all health and safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For?



Essential:



Proven experience as a CNC Operator Experience programming CNC machines using CAM software or at the machine Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Experience using precision measuring tools

Desirable:



Familiarity with Fanuc or similar controls CAD/ArtiCAD/SketchUp experience Engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualification
This position requires a detail-oriented professional committed to safety standards and continuous improvement. Candidates should possess strong technical skills combined with practical manufacturing experience to excel in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
