Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

CNC Programmer

with strong proficiency in

Hypermill CAM software

, and hands-on experience working with

HAAS

and

Heidenhain

controllers. The ideal candidate will have a background in machining

aerospace components

, with a deep understanding of tight tolerances, high-performance materials, and AS9100/ISO 9001 quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using

Hypermill

CAM software. Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines controlled by

HAAS

and

Heidenhain

systems. Interpret complex aerospace component models, and technical drawings. Ensure all programs meet required specifications, tolerances, and quality standards. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to optimize machining strategies. Conduct first-article inspections and support in-process quality checks. Recommend tooling, fixtures, and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Maintain accurate documentation for programs, setups, and tooling sheets. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3

years of CNC programming

experience, specifically using

Hypermill

. Proven experience with

HAAS

and

Heidenhain controllers

. Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret GD&T and engineering drawings. Experience with 3 and 5 axis milling machines. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 certified environments. Background in CNC machining of Steel, Stainless, Aluminium and Polymers Previous experience in a low-volume, rapid response part manufacture
