Essential Criteria:

1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role using SigmaNEST or equivalent nesting software.
2. Previous experience planning and scheduling work.

Key Tasks and Duties:

1. Import and process CAD files into SigmaNEST for nesting operations.
2. Generate optimised nesting layouts for trumpf laser and HBR plasma machines.
3. Create NC code and post-process programs for CNC machines.
4. Plan daily and weekly cutting schedules based on production priorities.
5. Coordinate with production, and procurement teams to ensure material availability and job readiness.
6. Minimise material waste and machine idle time through intelligent nesting strategies.
7. Ensure part quality and dimensional accuracy by simulating tool paths and verifying cut sequences.
8. Analyse nesting performance and suggest improvements to reduce costs and increase throughput.
