CNC Programmer

Overview

We are seeking a high skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming CNC machines, must be extremely proficient in Alphacam and Cabinet Vision and possess a solid understanding of fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Must be proficient with Alphacam and Cabinet Vision software Develop and optimise CNC programmes for various machining operations, ensuring precision and efficiency. Operate CNC milling machines and other fabrication equipment as required. Utilise CAD software to create and modify designs, ensuring compatibility with CNC machinery. Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements in production processes. Perform quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet specifications and standards. Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Assist in assembly tasks as needed, demonstrating versatility within the team.

Skills

Proficient in CAD software, with experience in SolidWorks being highly advantageous. Strong understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and their applications in manufacturing. Familiarity with milling processes and tooling requirements for various materials. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, including materials handling techniques. Experience in assembly and welding processes is a plus.
