Cnc Programmer

Lincoln, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Krantz Designs are looking for a CNC Operator/Programmer to join our growing team on a full-time, permanent basis. We are a well-established and expanding company with a stunning showroom in the Bailgate area of uphill historic Lincoln, specializing in the design and manufacture of bespoke, high-end kitchens and interiors.

As a CNC Operator/Programmer, you will play a key role in the production of precision kitchen components, supporting the smooth flow of work through our manufacturing process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong computer skills and a keen eye for detail to develop their technical abilities within a creative and collaborative environment.

You will assist in programming and machining components on our 5-axis CNC, working closely with our designers, joiners, and assembly team to ensure each project meets our exacting standards. Experience with CNC machinery is not essential - we will provide full training - but a good grasp of computers, Excel, and technical drawings is required.

The successful applicant will be motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. A background or interest in design, joinery, or furniture manufacturing would be advantageous, as would experience with AutoCAD or similar design software.

You will join a dedicated and friendly team committed to excellence, innovation, and craftsmanship. At Krantz Designs, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality and service to our clients, and we're looking for someone who shares that passion for precision and creativity.

What You'll Be Doing

Setting up tools and maintaining machine readiness, including replacing worn tooling. Working collaboratively with the production team, designers, joiners, and assembly staff to ensure projects move efficiently through the workshop. Contributing to the development of CNC-driven manufacturing methods that improve workflow and product consistency.
What We're Looking For

Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel (experience managing data, formulas, and structured information). AutoCAD experience or familiarity with technical design software (beneficial but not essential). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Basic understanding or keen interest in joinery techniques and furniture assembly. Excellent attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. Good communication and teamwork skills with a positive, proactive attitude.
