Redstart//Design is an independent company specialising in design and manufacturing services for the engineering, automotive and military sectors. Our objective is to provide high quality, productive, customer focused solutions, quickly, effectively and within budget. We are also the manufacturing company behind RED Winches.

Due to upcoming projects and high demand we are looking to employ a full time experienced CNC Turning Programmer and Operator to join our existing team of engineers in our manufacturing facility in Chard, Somerset.

Our workshops are modern with investment every year to improve and expand.

Requirements for the position of CNC Machinist (Fanuc):

Minimum of 12 months on the job experience as a CNC Turning Machinist and programmer in FANUC. Good knowledge of Fanuc based controls, must be able to program a Fanuc based CNC Mill unsupervised. Capable of reading technical drawings. Experienced at working and inspecting to close tolerances Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good work ethic and a positive attitude to join the current energetic manufacturing team
General Working Conditions:

7am-5:30pm Mon-Thursday 4 Day Week, with overtime Clean modern machine shop running Doosan CNC's mostly. Sickness Scheme Pension Scheme Vibrant, varied, team environment with a wide ranging scope of work Good rates of pay depending on experience and skills for the right candidate
