The Impact You Will Make (Key Responsibilities):

You will be in charge of the machining process, from programming to final inspection. Your goal will be to achieve zero-defect production on complex and high-precision parts within a timely manner.

1. Master of CNC Programming & Optimisation

Innovate & Develop:

Take charge of developing and meticulously optimising CNC programs, working both at the machine and offline using advanced CAM software.

Drive Efficiency:

Implement advanced programming techniques to maximise machine throughput, drastically reduce cycle times, and elevate final part quality.

2. Precision Machine Setup

The Setup Architect:

Perform meticulous and detailed setups of state-of-the-art CNC machinery. This includes strategic tooling selection, precise fixture preparation, and expert calibration to guarantee adherence to exacting specifications.

Conquer Complexity:

Specialise in managing complex, multi-axis, and high-precision part setups that require exceptional attention to detail and technical problem-solving.

3. Guardian of Quality & Tolerance Control

Quality First:

Implement and enforce rigorous quality control protocols across the entire machining cycle.

Verify Perfection:

Utilise advanced measuring instruments to perform final inspections, ensuring every single finished part meets our uncompromisingly tight tolerance standards.

4. Expert Technical Troubleshooting & Improvement

Process Optimiser:

Be the primary diagnostician, identifying and swiftly resolving complex machining issues to reduce downtime and continuously enhance overall productivity.

Engineering Partner:

Provide expert insights to solve deep-seated machining challenges and drive continuous process improvement.

5. Mentor & Develop the Next Generation

Share Your Knowledge:

Act as a key resource, assisting with the training and mentorship of CNC operators to elevate their skills in machine operation, process safety, and quality assurance.

6. Uphold Safety Standards

Health and Safety Standards:

Adhere to workplace safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Working Hours

Rotating shift pattern bi-weekly, 2 weeks early, 2 weeks back shift

Early Shift - Monday - Friday 06:00hrs - 14:00hrs at basic rate

Back Shift - Monday - Thursday 14:00hrs - 00:00hrs basic rate + 1/5

Over time rate is basic rate + 1/2

Wage depending on experience

Interview

At the interview stage you will be asked to demonstrate you capability to programme a job, therefore experience in programming is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 18.00-21.00 per hour
