Key Responsibilities
Set and operate CNC sliding head machines (Star experience essential)
Read, interpret, and edit CNC programmes confidently
Produce precision components to tight tolerances
Conduct in process inspection to ensure product quality
Optimise tooling, speeds, and feeds using modern machining techniques
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
Work effectively as part of a fast paced production team
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience as a CNC sliding head setter/operator
Essential experience working on
Star sliding head machines
Ability to read and edit CNC programmes on Fanuc controls.
Strong understanding of modern tooling and machining methods
Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
