CNC Wood Machinist (Furniture)

We are a well-established, family-run manufacturing business seeking a skilled

CNC Wood Machinist

to join our production team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in

furniture manufacturing

and a solid background in factory-based machining.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC machinery, specifically the

AES Extreme Ultra 2132

Program CNC machines using

Microvellum

software Use a range of equipment in the machine room, including panel saws, nesting machines, and edge banders Manage stock levels of boards and edging tape Receive, handle, and store large sheet materials safely Assist with general factory duties, including lifting and carrying as required Maintain a clean and well-organised workspace Communicate clearly and effectively as part of a close-knit team

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' experience in CNC machining and programming Strong understanding of woodworking machinery and processes Full UK driving licence (required) Honest, reliable, and highly organised References will be required prior to employment

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Early finish on Fridays at 3:45pm
