We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming CNC machines and a keen understanding of fabrication processes. This role requires proficiency in CAD software and the ability to assemble components with precision. The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production through effective tooling and materials handling.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimise CNC programmes for milling operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate components as per requirements. Utilise CAD software to create and modify designs for machining processes. Assemble parts and components, ensuring they meet quality standards. Conduct regular maintenance on CNC machinery, troubleshooting any issues that arise. Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects. Manage materials handling, ensuring proper storage and usage of raw materials. Maintain an organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand complex machinery and tooling systems. Proficiency in CAD software for designing and modifying parts. Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations during programming. Familiarity with logic controllers is advantageous for effective machine operation. Experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is preferred. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output in all tasks undertaken. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
