Who Are We

SIXTEEN ON THE HILL is a boutique cocktail bar in the heart of Penwortham, just outside Preston City Centre. We pride ourselves in offering a wide range of speciality cocktails that create memorable moments and enable our creative team to showcase their knowledge and develop new skills in the art of mixology.

Since launching we've created a name for ourselves by creating unique cocktails, perfectly presented in our beautiful bar on what has become a thriving high street full of food and drink outlets.

What We're Looking For

An

experienced

hospitality manager with a record of managing a small team effectively whilst delivering outstanding service and attention to detail! mixology experience or keen interest. A team player, we are a small family run business and we take great pride in our bar, we want someone who cares as much as we do! High standards in cleanliness, hygiene and service.

availability Friday to Sunday.

Our ideal team member needs to be great with our customers and able to passionately and confidently talk about our products and services.

Must be over 18.

A desire to constantly develop knowledge and skills.

What We're Offering

Great rate of pay at 20,000 (FTE 32,000) per annum based on 25hr week. Flexible shifts with finishes no later than 1AM on Fri & Sat and 10.30pm any other evening Company pension a great team to work alongside!

Responsibilities

Oversee daily bar operations and manage the team to ensure smooth service. Supervise and train bartending staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and hospitality standards. Prepare and serve cocktails, maintaining high-quality presentation, taste and consistency. Work with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Foster a positive team environment and resolve customer inquiries efficiently. Cash handling and cashing up. Assisting with business development . Ensuring opening and closing standards are met.
