We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences while ensuring a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment. Your role is crucial in maintaining the bar's atmosphere and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer requests. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper change is given. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and food safety practices. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. A friendly demeanour with the ability to engage customers positively and create a welcoming atmosphere. A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing menus or drink specials as required.
