Job Overview

No Nuisance is a small cocktail bar based on George Street in St Albans. we are a small 25 seat bar, with a 20 seat out door terrace that delivers table service to all guests. No Nuisance is open from Wednesday - Saturday and we are looking for a part time (2 days per week) waitress/waiter. The wage is between 16 - 18 per hour including service charge.

We are looking for some one dedicated and enthusiastic about hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a cocktail Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, making recommendations, clearing and re-laying tables and most importantly fostering great relations with our guests.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take beverage orders promptly. Serve drinks efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including drink specials and ingredients. Assist in food preparation when necessary, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the beverage service area. Provide assistance to guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns with professionalism.

Experience

Previous floor service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently. A genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding guest services is crucial. Knowledge of food safety regulations is beneficial but can be taught on the job.
