Workshop Welder
with proven structural steelwork experience.
Role Overview
You will be working within our fabrication workshop, producing high-quality structural steel components in line with UKCA EXC2 requirements. The role involves reading fabrication drawings, preparing materials, welding to a high standard, and assisting with general workshop duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
Welding structural steelwork in accordance with UKCA EXC2.
Working from fabrication drawings and following production schedules.
Completing all tasks to a high standard of accuracy, quality, and safety.
Preparing and setting up materials, including cutting, grinding, and tack-welding.
Supporting workshop operations as required.
Requirements
Proven experience welding structural steelwork in a fabrication environment.
Strong understanding of UKCA / EN1090 requirements (EXC2 minimum).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Good attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
Reliability and good communication skills.
Testing & Certification
All candidates will be required to complete a
pre-employment welding test in MIG
.
Successful applicants will then complete
welding codings in MIG
on commencement of employment.
