Overview We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at a bustling cafe in the heart of the city. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating delicious coffee beverages. Responsibilities - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks - Assist customers in selecting beverages based on their preferences - Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe, including the coffee preparation area - Handle cash transactions and operate the till accurately - Help with food preparation and serve light snacks when required Experience- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential - Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently - Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately - Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the wellbeing of customers and staff - A willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques
