Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant to join our team with the day-to-day operations of our coffee shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and adhering to 5 hygiene standards whilst preparing a basic snack menu and hot drinks. Weekend work essential*
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with their enquiries and provide friendly service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop
- Help in stocking and rotating products on shelves
- Support in food preparation activities as required
- Operate the till and handle transactions accurately
- Understanding food hygiene and allergens - full training given
Experience
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions
- Willingness to learn and help in various tasks
- Previous experience in food preparation would be beneficial
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
Schedule:
Every weekend
Monday to Friday
Overtime
Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
