Job Purpose:
Working in a busy coffee shop and serving customers
Duties:
Serves customers by taking and relaying orders; collecting payment; selecting food items from serving or storage areas; assembling items on serving tray or in take out bag.
*Barista trained would be an advantage but not essential as all training is given
Maintains safe and clean work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with food-handling and sanitation regulations.
Food preparation
Operating equipment including coffee machines
Maintains customer satisfaction and confidence by meeting food quality and service standards; finding ways to please customers.
Accomplishes organisation goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
