Our Assistant Managers assist the GM in the overall day to day running of a busy store with multiple sections.
As a coffee roaster
, our main focus is great coffee.
Assistant Store Managers are expected to make sure coffee is prepared to the highest standards, maintaining consistent latte art and exceptional espresso.
Our Assistant Managers are responsible for managing and developing their teams, by delivering appropriate training, coaching and support.

Bean Coffee is an independent coffee roaster based in the Northwest, with stores throughout Liverpool and Greater Manchester, Edinburgh and now Leeds and Sheffield.
We roast our award-winning coffee in our roastery on Brunswick Dock, Liverpool. All our coffee is sourced from independent farms across Africa, South America, and Asia, ensuring traceability. This also means that we can guarantee all our beans are sustainably and ethically produced.
What are we looking for?

- Ensure Coffee is prepared to the highest standards, maintaining latte art and exceptional Espresso.
- Cash handling and controls
- Stock ordering, controls and management
The successful candidate
- Has a sound knowledge of the coffee industry and a passion for standards
- The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible and able to work weekends when needed.
- Is a people person and can communicate effectively at all levels
- Has great business acumen, making sound decisions, adapting their approach to the needs of the business at any given time
- Has experience in a similar role with transferrable skills
- Has exceptional organisational skills
- Can remain professional always
- Has a passion for food and drink
- Can inspire and lead a team from the front, encouraging a fun yet professional workplace
Should have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
