Harts of Stur is a fourth-generation family business and have been established since 1919. We have extensive premises built on the original site where our founder, the late Walter Hart, was Sturminster Newton's local Blacksmith.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We require an inspirational leader with infectious personality and (ideally) incredible barista skills to assist the day-to-day running of what is a very busy outlet. We want someone who has a real passion for smiley customer service, goes that extra mile and who wants it all home made. Must be reliable, punctual and cool under pressue. You must be motivated, quick to learn and be able to work at speed, and be willing to go that extra mile when the need arises.
JOB DESCRIPTION
:
You will work closely with the manager to support the daily operations of the Coffee Loft at Harts of Stur. This includes leading the service team when the Manager is not available, helping manage costs and pricing, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
Support the manager in supervising the service team
Help manage stock, source ingredients, and place orders
Assist with food preparation, presentation, or sourcing finished items
Contribute to menu planning and development
Carry out other tasks as directed by the Company Directors or department manage
CURRENT HOURS OF WORK
Our normal opening hours are weekdays 8am -5.30pm, Saturday 8am -4.30pm, Sunday 10am-4pm.
You will work a 5 day week, 40-44 hours per week. There may be the opportunity for overtime during busy trading periods.
UNIFORM:
Branded tops are supplied and are expected to be worn at all times and trousers and skirts must be black or navy. Footwear must be black, sensible and no open toed style
REMUNERATION
13.00 per hour.
HOLIDAY:
28 days per year for full time employee inclusive of all Bank Holidays, pro rata for part time employees
