Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and other speciality drinks. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are made to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including the dining area, kitchen, and equipment. Handle catering orders as required, ensuring timely delivery and setup for events. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards at all times.

Skills

Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant environment is preferred, showcasing your understanding of hospitality and customer service. Barista experience is highly desirable; familiarity with coffee brewing techniques will be an advantage. Strong food preparation skills with an emphasis on quality and safety practices. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues alike. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in catering and serving within the coffee shop setting.
