Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Coffee Shop Manager to oversee our busy wee cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As the Coffee Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, leading a team, and ensuring that our customers enjoy a delightful experience with every visit.

Your culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation will play a vital role in maintaining high standards in our kitchen. You will be required to cook at weekends once a month and to cover any cook's holidays.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction. Lead, train, and motivate a team of baristas and kitchen staff to deliver excellent service. Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Develop and implement menu items, including seasonal specials that reflect current trends. Maintain inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, placing orders and shopping as necessary. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure repeat business.

Requirements

Proven experience in team management and leadership within a cafe or restaurant environment. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking. Knowledge of coffee-making techniques and beverage presentation is advantageous. Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff alike. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.A passion for coffee culture and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.25-13.00 per hour
