We're looking for a friendly, hardworking all-rounder to join our team--someone who feels just as comfortable serving customers as they do preparing food or keeping the kitchen running smoothly. In this role, you'll wear a few different hats: barista, server, food prep assistant, and pot wash support. Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold drinks, including coffees, teas, and speciality beverages.
Welcome customers warmly, take orders accurately, serve food and drinks, and help ensure guests enjoy a great experience.
Assist with food preparation while following all food safety and hygiene standards.
Keep the kitchen and cafe areas clean, tidy, and well organised, including washing dishes and maintaining equipment.
Stay on top of time management to keep service flowing smoothly during busy periods.
Handle cash transactions confidently and maintain accurate records.
Work closely with your teammates to create a positive, supportive, and upbeat work atmosphere.
Requirements
Experience in a cafe, restaurant, or food service environment is helpful but not essential--we're happy to train someone with the right attitude.
Good understanding of basic food safety practices.
Basic maths skills for cash handling and managing orders.
Strong time management skills and the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
A friendly, approachable nature with a genuine passion for helping others.
Willingness to get stuck in wherever needed--front of house, behind the counter, or in the kitchen.
