We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting with daily operations in our coffee shop. 9AM-3PM PERFECT FOR SCHOOL HOURS /PART TIME

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including the dining area and kitchen. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Support catering services as needed, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of food items. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role, preferably in a coffee shop or restaurant setting. Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures. Skills in bartending or catering are advantageous but not essential. A passion for providing exceptional service and helping others enjoy their experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 7.00-14.47 per hour
