Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items as directed by the head chef or manager Follow established recipes and portion sizes Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times Assist with basic food preparation, such as chopping, slicing, and portioning Set up and stock workstations before service Store food safely and label items according to guidelines Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly Follow all food safety and health & safety procedures Assist in receiving and storing deliveries Work as part of the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

Requirements

Basic cooking skills and experience in a cafe, coffee shop, or similar environment Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards Able to work efficiently during busy periods Reliability and good timekeeping Positive attitude and team player Flexibility to work
