Job Overview

We are looking for a Coffee Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. This role requires experience in team management and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Manage daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and growth. Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and quality control. Handle inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while managing labour costs effectively. Engage with customers to build relationships, gather feedback, and enhance the overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations. Help run social media platforms and grow customer engagement.

Skills

Experience in restaurant or hospitality management with supervisory experience. Previous barista experience is required, along with an understanding of coffee brewing methods. Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and guide a diverse team effectively. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations. Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with both staff and customers.
