We have a vacancy for a special role at our West Kirby shop The Bakehouse West

The shop is weel established in the community, warm inviting and with a great team.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coffee Shop Manager to guide the team and ensure the smooth operation of our coffee shop, have a good eye for the display and details of the shop and create a great atmosphere for our customers. The candidate would be an all round person who is able to multi skill in all areas of the coffee shop. We run a small food menu and the preparation of sandwiches and small plates would be included in the roll

Our ideal staff member is active, positive and passionate about our lovely coffee shop space that has so many regular customers. We believe this will come from a strong background in hospitality and food service, coupled with excellent leadership skills. As the Coffee Shop Manager, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for customers while overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Be organised, a great communicatorand experienced in this kind of work and REALLY into coffee cake and good food.

Responsibilities

Be able to open and close the shop and complete all duties to a high standard, setting the standard for the team Supervise daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting effective teamwork. Oversee food preparation and production processes of our small food menu to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability of products. Implement marketing strategies to promote the coffee shop and attract new customers. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, adhering to health and safety standards. Cash responsibilities

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food service industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Experience in culinary or bartending roles is advantageous but not essential. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in customer focused environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for coffee culture and commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences.

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
