Job Description
Would you like to be part of a warm welcoming team in a busy community space? Our Ashgate Coffee Shop in Hasland is based inside our popular Furniture Store - home to beautiful furniture, unique gifts and our stylish fashion boutique - we're looking for friendly volunteers to help make every visit a great experience.
As a Coffee Shop Volunteer, you'll be part of a small, supportive team helping to prepare and serve drinks, light meals and snacks, as well as keeping the cafe clean and inviting for our customers. You'll play a key a role in creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where people can take a break while supporting our hospice.
No experience is needed - we'll provide full training and ongoing support.
Ashgate Hospicecare is a charity (no. 700636) that provides compassionate, specialist palliative and end of life care, free of charge, to patients with a life-limiting illness and their families across North Derbyshire.
Our vision is that everyone in North Derbyshire with a life-limiting illness, and the people important to them, can make the most of every moment together and that they can die with dignity and comfort.
