Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards Oversee food safety procedures and maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise operational efficiency Collaborate with management on menu development and special event planning Train and mentor junior team members to develop their culinary skills and knowledge Ensure all food served meets quality standards and customer expectations Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth

Qualifications

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within hospitality or restaurant settings Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary innovation Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure Experience in food production, restaurant service, and hospitality operations is highly desirable Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required A passion for delivering outstanding customer service through exceptional culinary craftsmanship
