Summary

We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team in North East. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our mission by ensuring timely and efficient transportation of collected textiles from charity shops and textile bins. Your contributions will directly support our charitable initiatives and promote environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles safely and efficiently to transport collected textiles. Ensure timely delivery of items to designated locations. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding collection schedules. Assist in loading and unloading textiles as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies. Promote the importance of recycling within the community. Proven experience as a delivery driver. Strong mechanical knowledge is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous warehouse experience is an advantage.
