Job Description

To optimise sales and margin for the business through establishing an engaging relationship with our customers.






Develop and maintain a strong, lasting relationship with the key accounts and acting as the main point of contact

Maintenance of the product sales forecast weekly

Ensure that any changes to the sales forecast are communicated to the relevant buying teams-Packaging, Protein and Raw materials

Analyse the orders that come into the business to ensure all are in alignment with expectations-communicating with the retailer in the instance of any issues or missed sales opportunities. Understand and maintain the customers Profit and Loss account understanding how costs are made up

Developing strong working relationships with internal teams within Buying, Technical, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and NPD. Analysis of monthly trading performance against forecast and against budget.

Preparation and research of presentations for both internal and external requirements.

Ensuring that price comparison / promotional pack forms are established and maintained.

Maintain the sales tracker with cost pricing information (PPPC), We supply, Joint Business plans - using the raw data supplied by the Commercial Administrator. To oversee the accuracy of the information provided by the Commercial Administrator in respect of the Promotional Calendar, Product Newsletter, New line forms and price change data Be able to create and analyse market data summaries on each retailer's performance on shellfish to present monthly internally and externally to enable joint business planning.

Translate customer insights into strategies which drive performance.

Leading category management projects to optimise ranges through data analysis on stores, waste, price and promotions.

Initiating new opportunities through understanding our business

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE



Essential:
5 years of experience in a customer facing role Strong analytical skills - ability to synthesise and integrate learning from multiple sources and see the connections in data, trends and events to generate insights Strong IT skills & competency Listening & influencing - actively seeks and understands the input of others to gain broad alignment to ideas Strong presentation skills - comfortable presenting internally / externally to all levels Self-motivated individual Enjoyment of food and an appreciation of the wider food industry and supply chain
